The Jean Barry Soap Company
About The Jean Barry Soap Company
Jean started making soap 15 years ago and developed her unique recipes, which were inspired by the nature, which surrounds her.
Our Soaps are made in The Cow House on our small holding “Two Thirds Farm” in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the wild West
Penwith area of Cornwall. We use quality ingredients and fine essential oils to create a highly
moisturising soap with a great lather. The soaps are made using the “cold process” a traditional method used from thousands of years.
The complete process from cutting the solid oils to wrapping the soap, is done by hand, no part of soap making is rushed, always allowing the
soap to complete its natural course. The days are busy on Two Thirds Farm making soaps, looking after the Wild Bunch (our wonderful alpacas), feeding the crazy ladies (our adorable chickens), petting the cats Pickle and Harry and cuddling our latest additions, the naughty Kune Kune pigs Nui, Tui and Whetu.
