It’s been an emotional week in the Mrs Green house so we’ve been a little quiet. Our darling Stanley had to have his leg removed after a cancer diagnosis and whilst he appears to be getting on with it, we’ve been complete wrecks! Comfort food required and you can’t get more comforting than a lovely ol’ pie. This one is full of mushrooms in a rich gravy ??
There isn’t a recipe as such. The shortcrust pastry is a very simple method of:
450g plain flour
200g stork bock
7tbsps cold water.
The filling was lots of mushrooms, an onion, some garlic and peas cooked in a vegetable stock and some gravy granules ??
